Ušuljao se povjetarac u vedar cvrkut parka.	Sea breeze has slunk into serene chirping park.
U praskozorju otvorio se pupoljak – latice sunca.	A rose – bud has opened at daybreak – petals of the sun.
Na jugovini dijete trčkara laticama voćaka.	Wet south wind – a toddler running across the cherry petals.
Draži nosnice miris zgarišta spaljenog sela.	My nostrils full of the smoke – village in ruins.
More i obalu umivaju rojevi zvijezda.	Sparkling stars rinsing the sea and cliffs as well.
Umire dan – cvrčak pjesmom pali noć.	At sunset a cricket's song turns on the night.
Mirisom bora miriše tišina ljetne noći.	Silence smells of the pines – summer night.
Na suroj hridi a ribom u kljunu usamljeni galeb.	On grey cliff with a fish in its beak a lonely seagull.
Bonaca na pučini – struja mjesečine.	Such a calm at the open sea – streaming moonlight.
Uz klokot hvataju se slapovi – prelet galeba.	By the purling cascades flow seawards – a gull over them.
Zamrzla bura – crne mačje šape kližu lokvom.	Icy north wind – black cat's paw sliding on the puddle.
Val za valom razbija se o obalu – srebrena pjena.	Wave after wave slashing at the shore - silver surf.
U traganju za ljepotom, dvoje sretnih prate sjene.	Searching fore the beauty a happy couple with their shadows.
Gubi se u plavom beskraju galebov krik ...	Seagull's scream slowly disappearing into the blue infinity ...
